Useful Links

Hi All,

I wanted to consolidate some of the links I have found useful. I hope you find them useful too!

  • Pyscript - Run Python in the browser.
  • PyRVA - A local Python user group for Richmond Virginia.
  • Mad Fientist - A blog and podcast about financial independence.
  • Excalidraw - A whiteboard tool for sketching hand-drawn-like diagrams. I am using this to brainstorm my business ideas.
  • carbon - I noticed some people using a tool like carbon on Twitter to make their code look nice.
  • Copilot - An AI code generator. Based on the same technology as ChatGPT. It's like a super-powered autocomplete.
  • The Bullet Journal Method - I have been using this book to help me get started with bullet journaling. Thanks, library!
  • Aseprite - This is a great tool for making pixel art.
  • Brandon James Greer - Youtube pixel art videos
  • Affinity Software Suite - I started using Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo years ago on the Mac as an alternative to Adobe software. Affinity makes great software. Since I find myself without a Mac I decided to pick up the newly released 2nd version of the software suite that is currently discounted. I'm not sure when I'll get around to using Affinity Publisher, but it looks cool!
  • TailwindUI - I purchased tailwindUI. Tailwindcss has revolutionized UI development for me. I initially didn't like the look of it, but after using it, I fully agree with a testimonial on their website.

I feel like an idiot for not using @tailwindcss until now.
